Cops Cycling for Survivors announces 25th annual ride honoring Indiana’s fallen law enforcement officers
The 13-day route includes upcoming stops in Princeton and Jasper

An annual statewide cycling tradition honoring Indiana’s fallen law enforcement officers and supporting their families will launch its 25th annual ride next week.
Cops Cycling for Survivors will begin its 13-day “Ride to Remember” on Monday, July 6. Cyclists will travel nearly 1,000 miles across Indiana, stopping in local communities to meet with survivors and hold memorials.
The 2026 ride will pay special tribute to two Indiana officers whose line-of-duty deaths were formally recognized in 2025: Reserve Deputy Sheriff John C. Stahl III of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, who died June 8, 2025, and Corporal Blake Adair Reynolds of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, who died Nov. 12, 2025.
Portraits of both officers have been added to the organization’s support truck. The vehicle serves as a “rolling memorial” that displays the faces and stories of more than 500 Indiana officers lost in the line of duty.
The 13-day route includes several stops near the Tri-State area toward the conclusion of the event:
-
July 13: Terre Haute to Princeton
-
July 14: Princeton to Jasper
-
July 15: Jasper to Jeffersonville
The event will begin with an 8 a.m. opening ceremony on July 6 at the Indiana Law Enforcement Memorial in Indianapolis. It will conclude on July 18 with a 2 p.m. ceremony at the Heroes of Public Safety section of Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Organizers encourage residents along the route to line the roadways and attend memorial stops to show support.
What began in 2002 as a ride to Washington, D.C., has evolved into a statewide foundation. Cops Cycling for Survivors provides immediate financial support to families following a line-of-duty death and funds more than 25 scholarships and foundations established in honor of fallen heroes.
